Most Grid problems fall into a handful of causes. Find your symptom below and try the fix before contacting support.
Advance not available
- An advance is still open. Grid allows one at a time. Repay it first.
- You just repaid. Users report waiting a few business days after repayment before a new advance unlocks.
- Membership lapsed. Advances need an active Grid+ membership. Check that your last payment went through.
- Eligibility changed. Lower deposits or balances can pause or reduce your limit.
Bank account will not link
- Confirm your online banking login works on your bank's own website.
- Turn off any VPN and update the Grid app.
- If your bank still fails, it may not be supported. See which banks work with Grid.
Limit dropped
Grid reviews limits on an ongoing basis. Keep your paycheck going to the linked account, avoid letting the balance hit zero and repay on time. Limits typically recover gradually.
Transfer delayed or failed
Standard transfers can take one to three business days, and weekends and bank holidays add time. If instant delivery fails, your debit card may not be eligible; choose standard transfer instead.
App crashing or not loading

Frequently asked questions
Why can't I get another Grid advance after repaying?
Some users report a short waiting period of a few business days after repayment before a new advance becomes available. Your limit is also reviewed regularly.
Why did my Grid advance limit go down?
Grid reviews limits regularly using deposits, balances and repayment history. A drop in deposits, a low balance or a failed repayment can lower your limit.
Why is my instant transfer failing?
Some bank debit cards are not supported for instant delivery. Use the standard transfer, which usually takes one to three business days.
